Our Story
In the tapestry of life, some threads are woven with intention, while others are guided by divine whispers. This is the tale of Mmabatho and Henry—a story that began not with grand gestures, but with a simple, heartfelt “Yes” to the Lord and a surrender to His will.
How it Started
It was the year 2023 when Mmabatho first heard of a man of God leading a church, mentioned by a mutual friend. The conversation was brief, a passing thought, and Mmabatho, ever the planner, did not pursue it further. The name of the church faded from her memory, and life continued its course.
Months later, during a weekend of personal solitude, Mmabatho felt an unexplainable pull to visit a church. Without her usual research or preparation, she reached out to the mutual friend, calling numerous times, saying,
“We have to go to that church, whatever it’s called. I don’t know why.”
And so, she went. In the presence of God, she met Henry. A connection was made, not of this world, but of the divine.
Three months later, Henry proposed, asking Mmabatho to be his forever. Four months after that, he crossed the ocean to do things right and meet her parents.
And so, they stand together, united in love, faith, and the joy of God’s perfect timing.
